Floreverie is a sustainable fashion house established in 2020 by designer Florence Omowunmi Olojede. We create sculptural celebrationwear: pieces with presence ruffled, ruched, pleated, bowed and beautifully engineered that honour craft while reducing waste. Our name blends flora and reverie: a reminder that clothes can bloom, and that beauty is most powerful when it’s thoughtful.
Design Language
Our design language is a study in structure and movement, expressed through petal draping and covered buttons—soft, ruched panels that gather and release to adjust and restyle the silhouette; architectural sleeves and bows with cloud volumes and dramatic wraps that frame the face and shoulders; mermaid and column lines that elongate the body with a fluid flare for modern evening elegance; ripple pleats and tiered textures that catch the light and add impact without heavy ornament; and a dialogue between heritage and modernity, blending lace and jacquard with indigo/heritage prints to carry West African textile stories into contemporary cuts. The effect is refined drama—editorial enough for the red carpet, considered enough to live in your wardrobe for years

We prioritise deadstock and surplus fabrics, artisanal weaves and responsibly sourced lace and jacquards. When we print, we favour smallbatch and lowwater processes. - Circular Design
Our “Switch” philosophy builds versatility into each piece—wrap ties, removable bows, adjustable ruching and thoughtful closures so garments can be styled multiple ways. Offcuts become surface details (appliqués, layered ruffles, textural tabs), minimising waste. - MadetoOrder & Small Runs
We produce in limited quantities and to order where possible, keeping inventory lean and quality high. - Local Craft, Fair Work
Each piece is cut and sewn by skilled artisans in our network of small ateliers. We invest in training and transparent, fair pay across our supply chain. - Care & Afterlife
We offer alterations, repair and rework services to keep Floreverie pieces in circulation—because the most sustainable garment is the one you continue to wear.

The Founder
Florence Omowunmi Olojede founded Floreverie to prove that sustainability and spectacle belong together. Her work explores how structure, texture and cultural memory can reduce waste: draping that adjusts instead of replacing, embellishment born from offcuts, and limitedrun capsules that respect resources. Florence has also shared her perspective publicly, including as a panelist on “Sustainable Creativity in Emerging Markets” at the Lagos Fashion Business Series (2024)—a conversation that mirrors the values at the heart of our studio.
